There was a record turnout at the 2018 Red Devil Classic Golf Outing in Ebensburg Friday afternoon.

The event raises money for the Central Cambria Education Foundation. Ninety-three golfers attended the golf tournament at the Ebensburg Country Club. There was also a cookout, 50-50 raffles and a silent auction.

Local businesses, students and teachers showed up, even graduates from 2017 dating all the way back to 1965.

“It’s a wonderful experience to see all the support for the foundation,” said Dennis Simmers, the president of the Central Cambria Education Foundation.

The tournament has been going on for 14 years and has raised about $100,000.
