BLAIR COUNTY, Pa (WTAJ) – The Geeseytown Community Fire Company hosted an open class car show in Geeseytown, Hollidaysburg.

On Sunday, August 7 from 12 – 5 p.m. the car show will took place at Geeseytown Fire Hall. Those interested had until Saturday, Aug. 6 to register.

One of the firefighters with the company was happy with the turnout they go for the first-ever car show.

“We initially had it planned for June, but we had some rain come in so we canceled it and made it for this August,” Hunter Heaton, Geeseytown Firefighter, said. “Had a really great turn out. We had about 25 cars come out and they’re all here having a good time and also having a chicken BBQ here.”

The pre-registration fee was $10 and $20 on the day of registration. Registration starts at 11 a.m.

There was music, refreshments, a chicken BBQ and 50/50 tickets.

Trophies were also given out for the oldest car, people’s choices, and driver’s choice. The event was open to any style of vehicle.
