Local News

College Township, Centre County, Pa- A developer has plans for a new four-story, mixed-use bank building.

The propsed building site would be at the old Honda Track and Trail location off of East College Avenue.

Plans for a mixed-used commercial bank building were submitted by the developer: Welteroth Property Group.

Currently plans for the first level of the building, which will likely house the bank, includes about 10,000 square feet of space.

The second and third floors will have office space and each be about 16,000 square feet in size.

The fourth floor will be smaller, just under 3,000 square feet. So far no plans have been announced for that floor.

College Township officials say they don’t know the name of the bank that could occupy the building.

The developer is now reviewing any feedback submitted by the township. A revised plan will be submitted by the developer, to the township by a March, 19 meeting.

If building plans are approved, the sale of the property (still owned by Honday Track and Trail owners) will be finalized.
