The Girard Goshen Elementary School was bought by the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging in July.

They will reopen it as a community for dementia patients of all ages and abilities called “Village of Hope.”

It will feature state of the art smart home technology to help those with dementia.

The former school building will be transformed into a community center.

This is the first community of its kind in the United States.
