State College, Pa- Friday, the State Theatre in downtown State College will show the first public screening of the film, “LIVE THE STREAM”.

It’s a film about Centre County native and nationally recognized fly-fisherman, Joe Humphreys.

Documentary directors Lucas and Meigan Bell say the film is about much more than fly-fishing.

They say it’s a character story about Joe who’s a one-of-a kind guy…with an emotional and powerful narrative about: aging, family, friendships, and the power of positive influence – told by a man who followed his calling.

The film has won four awards including: Best Adventure Film at the 2018 Breckenridge Film Festival.

The 6:30pm showing at The State Theatre Friday is already sold out. But, a 9:00pm showing still has tickets available.

Friday’s screening will also be the celebration of Joe’s 90th birthday.
