Police have arrested an employee at a local home for patients with special needs.
According to a police report, Brandy Schurr, 34 of Grampian was pulled over Wednesday for speeding on S. 2nd Street. Police discovered that she was under the influence of alcohol. Schurr was on duty at the time for Passavant Memorial Homes, and was transporting a patient.
She was taken into custody. The patient was released to the family.
