Pennsylvania’s Auditor General Eugene Depasquale is calling out two local counties for missing a deadline.
Huntingdon and Cameron are two of nine counties that failed to answer six questions about how they’re choosing new voting machines.
That deadline was February 8th.
Depasquale is reviewing how counties are purchasing voting machines after Luzerne county’s election director reportedly accepted trips from the company he chose to provide those voting machines.
All counties in Pennsylvania have until the end of this year to choose voting machines that leave a paper record of votes.
