The commercial vehicle ban has been lifted on several interstates.
The ban was lifted from Interstate 79 between the PA Turnpike and I-80, I-80 between the Ohio state line and the junction with I-81, I-99, I-180 and I-376 south of I-80.
As of 12:30 p.m., the ban on commercial vehicles remains in place on I-79 north of I-80, I-81 north of I-476 at Clarks Summit, I-84, I-86; and I-90.
The bans included all commercial traffic, including buses, though tow-truck operators were permitted to perform their operations for drivers.
This traffic ban came after Governor Tom Wolf’s emergency declaration on Friday.
