CLEARFIELD, Pa. (WTAJ) — State Police attempted to pursue a 45-year-old man in Hawk Run Borough on April 27, 2019, at around 1 a.m.
The man attempted to flee the police traveling down 6th Street when he failed to stop at a stop sign. He continued to drive off the road and hit an embankment.
The car, a Dodge Neon, went into the air then began to roll when it hit the ground. The car finally stopped on its roof.
The driver was located around 3:30 a.m. hiding a short distance from the scene. He looked to be in need of medical attention and was taken to UPMC Altoona. There’s currently no update on his condition.
He is also being charged for driving under a suspended/revoked license.
