Clearfield County town evacuates residents, declares emergency

Here’s the information posted by the Columbia Fire Company in Osceola Mills.

Osceola Mills is now under a local emergency.

Shelters are now open at our fire station, as well as the Catholic Church in Osceola. Multiple residents have been evacuated at the bottom of town due to a large amount of flooding. The Curtin Park Ct is now submerged with water as well as Newtown and Logan Rd area.

The Red Cross is notified and enroute to Osceola and will be setting up at our fire station. Anyone that needs assistance or was forced to leave their homes due to weather please come to one of the two locations.
