Cause of death determined in Elk County investigation

BENEZETTE TOWNSHIP, ELK COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Elk County Coroner has released the autopsy results following a death investigation in Elk County.

The body of 54-year-old Donald Dinger, of Smicksburg, was found shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday near a creek.

Following an autopsy, the cause of death has been ruled as natural causes.

Toxicology and pathology reports are still pending.
