KREAMER, Pa. (WTAJ) — Just a few days after Wood-Mode Inc. announced they would be closing and ending almost 1,000 jobs, a class action lawsuit was filed.

The law office of Sauder & Schelkopf has filed a lawsuit citing the “WARN act.” Basically, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act states that a company over 100 employees needs to give those employees a 60-day notice of closure and being laid-off.

The lawsuit looks to help the 900+ employees that abruptly lost their jobs due to the company closure.
