Air Force Association Chapter 221 is creating a brick memorial patio at the Buzz Wagner P-40 airplane site at the John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport.

Memorial bricks are being sold to offset the cost of the project. Each brick costs $50.

A memorial bench will also be placed at the Cambria County Airport for a nice view of the P-40. The memorial bench honors Tech Sgt. Richard Williams, Jr. who was friends with the Mayor of Summerhill Eric Miller.

In 2014, Miller was on duty as Forest Hills EMS Manager when Williams fell ill at his home in Sidman, PA. He was transported by ambulance to CMMC, saving his life. Williams spent 12 years in the US Air Force, honorably discharged as TSGT serving in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

A benefit concert to cover the installment of the remaining bricks and the bench will be held.
