Bomb threat reported at Penn State campus

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (WTAJ) — University Park has issued an alert for a bomb threat on Penn State campus. They are asking the public to avoid the Hostetter Business Services Building on Services road.

Authorities are on scene at this time.

According to Penn State University Police, a credible threat was called into the dispatch center just before 10 a.m., Thursday morning.

That call indicated suspicious packages had been delivered to an unknown location.

The mail center has been evacuated out of an abundance of caution. The public is asked to avoid the area while police investigate.
