Body found in Juniata River identified as man missing since January

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Blair County Coroner, Patty Ross, has confirmed that the body found Monday is that of Matthew Smith, who’s been missing since January.

Smith’s body was found in a section of the Juniata River Monday.

Officials have not released the cause of death, or if it is being ruled suspicious.
