Blizzard hitting midwest

Local News

A blizzard might not be what you expect in the middle of April but a massive winter storm is blasting up to 17 million people across the midwest.

6 states are under blizzard warnings, and winter storm warnings are up in 7 states.

In Colorado, the blizzard erased visibility for drivers and brought traffic to a standstill.

More than 750 flights were canceled at the Denver International Airport.

The storm caused slick roads and whiteout conditions as it moved into Kansas.

Electricity providers say the storm has left thousands without power.
