Due to record turnouts at the November elections in Bedford County, 14 precincts ran out of ballots, causing voters 30 minute wait times.
Bedford County Elections says this time they ordered more than enough ballots.
“We ordered 60% more of the ballots for this election,” Paul Crooks, Chairman of the Board of Elections, for Bedford County, said.
The elections office says they ordered more than 300 extra ballots than there are registered voters do the area. They say the extras will help in case there are mistakes made on ballots when people are voting.
Bedford County Elections, says they would love to see every registered voter show up tomorrow at one of their 16 precincts.
