Argument leads to stabbing with a screwdriver

YOUNG TWP., INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Two people are in jail after a verbal argument turned violent.

State Police say just after midnight Tuesday, Joseph Williams, 45 and Alexis Semuskie, 44 got into a verbal argument at a residence along Pounds Road in Young Township.  The argument then turned violent, with Williams allegedly slapping Semuskie, cutting her lip. 

Police say Semuskie retaliated by stabbing Williams in the elbow and three times in the left side with a screwdriver.  She then allegedly hit him multiple times with a metal bar.

Both Williams and Semuskie were arrested and taken to the Indiana County Jail.
