Altoona man pleads guilty to child pornography charges

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — An Altoona man pled guilty in federal court in Johnstown on child pornography charges.

John F. Boslet, 53, of Altoona, pled guilty to possessing images that showed child pornography, which was also sent to others.

Sentencing is scheduled for August 12, 2019, at 10 a.m.

The maximum sentence allowed by law will be 10 years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine. The sentence will depend on the offense and any past criminal history that Boslet may or may not have.
