A 6-year old boy in Hyndman, Pa got a special gift from his community.
After pushing through multiple surgeries, Weston Jefferies spent most of his time in what he calls his “happy place.” Which is his backyard.
When the ‘Kids Wish Network’ was made aware of what he went through, they couldn’t help but turn his special place into a paradise.
Volunteers from the Bedford County Habitat for Humanity came out to lend a hand,
Also, Lowe’s of Lavale provided 136 bags of mulch for a safe playing foundation,
And subway graciously fed all the volunteers.
Together, they built what they call “Winstons Backyard of Happiness.”
