19-year-old charged in aggravated assault case

A 19-year-old is facing charges after police say he assaulted a Penn State Altoona student at Nittany Pointe Apartments.

Daniel Bark was arrested for aggravated assault among other charges after police say he punched a kicked the victim numerous times.

The victim suffered a broken jaw and ribs.

Police say Bark was looking for marijuana from the victim, and when the student didn’t have any, Bark allegedly assaulted him.

Bark was arraigned and released after bail was set at $20,000 unsecured.
