The 17th former Beta Theta Pi brother plead guilty to actions stemming from the night of pledge Timothy Piazza’s death.

Our Evan Hinkley was inside the Centre Courthouse this morning.

Today 21-year-old Michael Bonatucci, plead guilty to three counts of hazing and one count of conspiracy to commit hazing, many fewer charges compared to the 56 charges he faced when he entered court today, which included reckless endangerment, hazing, and furnishing alcohol to minors.

All of those charges, besides some hazing charges were dropped. The court is looking to schedule his sentencing during the first week of April.

Nicholas Kubera, 21, was facing 62 charges. Of those charges he plead guilty to three counts of hazing and one count of conspiracy to commit hazing.

Kubera’s sentencing is scheduled for March 26.

Only three brothers left in the case are still facing trial.
