Tonight the clear sky we saw today will continue to and the dewpoint temperatures have fallen a bit so tonight should not be too bad. The lows tonight will reach the mid to low 60s. Tonight will be the last night of pleasant overnight temperatures for awhile.
Saturday will be hot and humid. The afternoon temperatures will reach the low to mid 90s in the afternoon. The dewpoint temperatures will reach the upper 60s to the low to mid 70s. When the dewpoint temperatures are that high it will feel very humid outside. It is important to stay cool and hydrated throughout this heat wave. If you have to do any yardwork outside do it in the morning hours when its not as hot. Saturday nights lows will reach the upper 60s to the lower 70s. We will not find much relief at night.
Sunday will be even hotter than Saturday. The afternoon temperatures will reach the mid 90s. A few cities could see the upper 90s. Sunday will also be very humid so it will feel much worst Sunday afternoon than it actually is. The weekend will remain dry. Sunday night the lows will reach the low to mid 70s, so again we will not find much relief during the overnight hours.
Monday will be just as hot as Sunday. The afternoon temperatures will be in the mid 90s for most cities but a few could see the upper 90s. The humidity will be just as bad Monday as it was Sunday.
Tuesday will be hot, humid and hazy. There is a slight chance of a pop up thunderstorm in the afternoon hours but most of us will stay dry. Tuesday highs will reach the low to mid 90s.
Wednesday expect more of the same. High pressure will continue to pump in some hot and humid air from the south. There is again a slight chance of a pop up thunderstorm in the afternoon but most of us will stay dry. Wednesday’s highs will reach the lower 90s to the mid 90s.
Thursday will be hot as well. The high temperatures will be in the upper 80s to the lower 90s. Friday’s highs will be in the upper 80s to the lower 90s. Friday will bring the best chance of wide spread showers and thunderstorms to Central Pennsylvania. Friday highs will reach the upper 80s to the lower 90s.
