Five Apps Not Sharing Information with Facebook


At least five popular health and fitness apps have stopped sharing sensitive user date with Facebook.

The move comes after a Wall Street Journal investigation. The journal found 11 apps shared personal information, including users’ body weight, blood pressure and pregnancy status with Facebook.

The social media giant says its telling the app developers to stop sending the sensitive information.

The company is also work on new systems to detect and black information sharing by apps.
