We’ll have a couple of showers and thunderstorms around early tonight. While small in size, these do bring some downpours. These will subside early tonight. Later tonight will stay muggy with some clouds and areas of fog and just the chance for another shower or thunderstorm. Lows will be in the 60s to near 70. Tuesday will stay warm and humid. An approaching cold front will give us more clouds than sunshine and more numerous showers and thunderstorms. Any of these can be heavy along with flooding downpours. Temperatures will try to reach up into the upper 70s and through the lower 80s in places despite the showers and thunderstorms. As the front presses to the east, the shower and thunderstorm risk will reduce later in the day which is good news for those who have places during the evening.
A bubble of high pressure will settle into the region and give us great weather for the middle of the week. We’ll have a partly to mostly sunny sky Wednesday with highs in the 70s to the lower 80s. The humidity will also be down a bit. With a clear sky and light winds, temperatures will drop into the 50s for a refreshing night Wednesday night. Sunshine will help rebound temperatures into the lower to middle 80s Thursday, but the humidity will stay comfortable. Friday will be warmer and more humid with partial sunshine and highs in the lower to middle 80s. Saturday will be quite warm and more humid with clouds and sunshine along with a couple of isolated pop up thunderstorms during the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s. We’ll have a better chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms and it will stay seasonably warm Sunday into Monday.
