HUNTINGDON, Pa. (WTAJ) – At least four different counties responded to a structure fire in Huntingdon just over a year after battling a blaze at the same building.
The former Blair House apartment building located on Penn Street is on fire again after displacing 59 people in May 2020. Crews from Huntingdon, Blair, Centre and Mifflin counties all responded to the scene this time.
The Huntingdon Fire Chief said the flames tore through the second, third and fourth floors. The Chief also said the state of the building after the previous fire was likely the reason the fire spread so fast.
