CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Clearfield County Courthouse and Annex buildings will be closing at noon on Friday for COVID-19 precautionary measures, according to Clearfield County Commissioners.

Officials said that an individual who works for Clearfield County Government and the courts has tested positive for COVID-19.

The courthouse has been in contact with the commonwealth and contact tracing is being done in addition to extraordinary cleaning procedures. Anyone that has been in contact with this individual within the past week will be contacted by the Department of Health.

The commissioners and the DOH are recommending that anyone who was in the courthouse or annex in the past week get tested for COVID-19 only if they are experiencing any relevant symptoms.

The county offices plan to reopen Monday at the normal time.
