Clearfield Borough will provide curb-side leaf pick-up and has released its collection schedule.


West Side of the River (Recycling Zone 1)
The curb-side leaf collection will occur during the following weeks:

  • Oct. 10
  • Oct. 24
  • Nov. 7

East side of the River (Recycling Zone 3)
The curb-side leaf collection will occur during the following weeks:

  • Oct. 17
  • Oct. 31
  • Nov. 14

Leaves are to be placed between the sidewalk and the curb and inside biodegradable paper bags. Residents, under no circumstances, are to rake leaves into the street.

Residents are to contact the Clearfield Borough Administration office if they are located on a one-way street.
Also, compost is available for local residents. There will not be any dumping permitted at the borough garage on Power Avenue, according to officials.

“We offer residential curb-side recycling for aluminum cans, bimetallic cans and most clear, green and brown glass,” officials said. “Pick-up is scheduled for the first and third Tuesday of the month for the Clearfield Borough residents.”

“Commercial establishments, located in the borough, are independently required to recycle items set forth by the recycling ordinance. A copy of this ordinance may be obtained at the Clearfield Borough Administration office.”

Borough officials noted that there will not be any Christmas tree pick-up.
