(CBS) — If anyone in this house was putting out an album on iTunes, you’d think it would be dad.
Glen Wolfe is a drummer who plays in a band.
Nevertheless, meet Buddy Mercury, named for the Wolfe family’s favorite singer Freddie Mercury of Queen.
“He does Beaglan Rhapsody,” said Wolfe
And no shortage of love around here.
Buddy’s part Beagle and Basset Hound known as a Bagel and today is his three year gotcha day.
That is the three year anniversary of the day the Wolfe’s rescued him.
And so in honor of that, the Wolfe’s were spreading positivity on social media only to realize that one of their posts got over a million views and it’s taken on a life of its own.
“There are actually people making videos of their beagle listening to the record and singing along,” Wolfe said.
Yes, there’s even Buddy merch. Bags and mugs and pins and hats and even ringtones as the Wolfe’s hope to raise money for a good cause.
“We want to help more animals be rescued and we only have so much space in our home,” Laurie Wolfe said.
While Buddy has a clear fanbase he also has some versatility, trust us.
He may be more “Hairy” Connick Junior than Mercury of Queen, but he is the heart and soul of this home.
