Blair County buys PPE stockpile

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Blair County commissioners are moving forward with buying a 60-day stockpile of personal protective equipment (PPE) for the county’s emergency management agency.

The PPE will be used by county healthcare workers, patients with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 infection and first responders.

The county would be reimbursed by PEMA and FEMA as along as it’s only a 60-day supply.
