Afternoon weather web forecast Monday May 8

The National Weather Service has posted a Freeze Watch for several counties in our viewing area. Another very cold night is in store for central Pennsylvania by early May standards with lows dipping into the upper 20s and low 30s. A nearly clear calm night will allowing for maximum cooling conditions, so cover up the tender vegetation and bring plants indoors. It won’t be nearly as cold later in the week but temperatures will stay well below average, showers arrive Thursday and should linger into the weekend.
