57th Annual Naturalization Ceremony

(CBS) — The 57th Annual Naturalization Ceremony was held today in Monticello, Virginia.

New citizens took the oath and were called by name to receive their certificates of naturalization.

The event also included people dressed in revolutionary war uniforms carrying flags, and someone singing a rendition of the national anthem.

One of the judges involved in the ceremony says this event is quote, “One of the only happy things we get to do as judges.”
