Researchers: Air purifiers can do more harm than good with COVID-19

NEW YORK, (CBS) — If you’re trying to keep Coronavirus out of the air, scientists are saying there’s one thing that probably won’t help.

New research finds air purifiers may do more harm than good when it comes to containing COVID-19 in confined spaces.
