(WTAJ) — Live Nation has become one of the latest companies to require COVID-19 vaccines for its employees and has chosen to require artists and attendees to show proof of vaccination or negative test results worldwide.
According to reports, the entertainment giant announced that not only would employees require vaccination against the virus, but that the company would require attendees, guests, and all performers, artists, and crew to have proof of vaccination or provide negative COVID-19 test results.
“Vaccines are going to be your ticket back to shows, and as of October 4th we will be following the model we developed for Lollapalooza and requiring this for artists, fans and employees at Live Nation venues and festivals everywhere possible in the US” – Michael Rapino, President and CEO, Live Nation Entertainment
The new requirements will go into effect beginning October 4, 2021.
Live Nation operates more than 200 concert venues in 40 different countries.
