This past weekend and today people across the country are honoring veterans, but one pup stole the show at a hockey game in Buffalo.
This is retired U.S. Army Sergeant John Sniadecki and his service dog, Honey. They were invited by the National Hockey League’s Buffalo Sabres to perform a ceremonial puck drop ahead of Saturday’s game with Vancouver.
Honey does not seem to thrilled with the concept, and as soon as the players arrive for puck drop, Honey slips his leash and decided to leave. It was part of a campaign for the team to help raise money for veterans.
