Jerry Springer is returning to daytime television, but his show will take place in a courtroom instead of a stage.
The former host of the “Jerry Spring Show” inked a deal with NBC for “Judge Jerry”.
The program will feature the veteran talk show host as a judge a la “Judge Judy”.
Springer has a law degree from Northwestern University, and before he was a talk show host, he had a career in politics, including a stint as the Mayor of Cincinnati.
“Judge Jerry” is expected to premier in the fall of 2019. It will be taped in front of a live studio audience.
