The U.S. Forest Service released new video of the moment a border patrol agent accidentally started a 47,000-acre sawmill fire in Arizona.
A man started the sawmill fire by shooting a rifle at a target filled with explosive materials for his baby gender reveal party.
That fire went on to cause $8 million in damages. The fire was immediately reported after it started, but the man behind the fire was sentenced in federal court in October.
He’s set to pay $100,000 from his savings, and $500 for the next 20 years, and he will be probation for the next five years and has to help the government advocate on fire safety.
No lives or homes were lost in the fire.
