The benefit concert, “Music for Mykenzie,” which was scheduled for Friday January 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Altoona Area High School Auditorium has been rescheduled for Friday, January 12 at 7:30 pm.
The event will feature Broadway songs from area students and a basket raffle. Proceeds will go to the family of local teen Mykenzie Brush to help pay medical bills. Mykenzie has mitochondrial syndrome which can cause serious physical and developmental disabilities.
Senior high students Emily Holland and Natalie Holsey organized the concert, for their senior service project.
