November 18 is International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day. Join a local community of suicide loss survivors as they find comfort and gain understanding.
There will be an International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day event on Saturday, November 18 from 9:30 am until 2:30 pm at the Altoona Area Public Library in the lower level. There will be screenings of The Journey, The Journey Revisited, small group discussions, Evaluations, Remembrance Ceremonies as well as a Healing Activity with Tabitha Shiner of “The Poor Painter”. The Blair County Suicide Prevention Task Force holds monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm in the Blair Medical Center’s Building C, located at 501 Howard Avenue in Altoona.
