George Batrus from Tom & Joe’s Diner in Altoona shares his recipe for Creamy Cole Slaw.
Creamy Cole Slaw
2 1/2 lb shredded slaw mix (Cabbage & Carrots)
3 1/2 tsp. salt
7 Tbsp. sugar
1 3/4 cups of mayo/salad dressing
7 Tbsp. cider vinegar
Yields: Approximately 14 – 4oz cups.
Mix ingredients in large mixing bowl. Allow to sit for approximately 15 minutes to allow to flavors to blend and sugar to dissolve and mix well again.
