2 Cents: World Record for Swinging

Central PA Live

New Zealand teenager Charlie O’Brien broke the Guiness World Record today for swinging over 33 hours on a local park swingset.

O’Brien swung through the night at the park, taking a 5-minute break every hour to eat drink and go to the bathroom.

The high school student told local media that he was joking with friends when he decided on his attempt to break what the Guiness World Records called “Non-Stop Swinging”.

O’Brien will have to wait to get the record officially verified by Guiness World Records, but that didn’t stop him from wearing a t-shirt reading “Official World Record Holder”.
