2 Cents: Roy Clark Passes Away

Some sad news in the country music world. Country music star Roy Clark passed away.

He died Thursday at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Clark was suffering from Pneumonia and died of complications from the illness. He played guitar and banjo and made his first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry at age 17.

He found success in country music and either hosted or  co-hosted the long running TV series “Hee Haw” from 1969-1992. Clark was 85 years old.
