2 Cents: Hostless Oscars

Central PA Live

It’s official, this year’s academy awards telecast will not have a host.

ABC, which will broadcast the 2019 Oscars later this month, announced Tuesday the ceremony will be hostless.

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart was revealed to be the host back in December, only to step down due to criticism over his past homophobic comments.

It’s the first time an Oscar telecast has been without a host in 30 years.
