Easter is coming up fast, it’s a week from Sunday. Stores are filled with chocolate bunnies, peeps, and grass for Easter baskets.
For a lot of families, that means the tradition of dying Easter Eggs You have a lot of dye kits to choose from in stores.
Check out this woman!
This is Doris Everhart and she dyes Easter Eggs using silk ties! She soaks them in hot water and wraps the ties around the egg securing it with old fabric.
Once they’ve been cooked and cooled, she removes the tie, and the colors and designs from the tie are transferred onto the egg.
