2 Cents: Banning Teens

Central PA Live

Sometimes, people make bad choices that things ruin things for the rest of us! A restaurant in Wisconsin called Tom’s Drive In is banning middle school customers.

Tom’s Drive In is a chain throughout the state, and the decision has only been made at one location.

The manager posted a sign on the door with the new policy.

He says it’s because middle schoolers who came to dine at the restaurant became so disruptive and destructive and that their behavior not only disturbed other customers but stressed out his staff as well.

He said many students were telling profanities, carving things into the tables, writing things with sharpie, and even standing on tables.
