PIAA clarifies impact of mask mandate for high school sports

HARRISBURG, PA. (WTAJ) – After Governor Wolf mandated masks this week, many were left asking how this affects high school athletes as they begin summer workouts.

On Friday, the PIAA clarified.

Essentially, players, coaches, and spectators all must wear masks, except if they’re outside and can maintain six feet of distancing, or if athletes are actively engaged in workouts.
