Updated Wednesday Morning, July 30th

Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

After a chilly start, in the upper 40s to around 50, temps will warm up a bit compared to yesterday.  Highs will ultimately rise into the upper 60s to low 70s.  We have some early areas of fog, otherwise some sunshine starts the day.  The only exception is in the northwestern zones where clouds and perhaps a stray shower could be around earlier as well.  There will be clouds building for the afternoon in eastern zones as a front approaches sparking scattered showers and a chance for thunder as well.  Unfortunately we have very few days that we can say will be rain-free in the forecast. Any day there is at least a slight chance for a shower, with some days more than others.  The best chance at a dry day looks to be Thursday and again next Monday.  Friday will bring a stray shower or storm with several locations missed. The most active days for showers and perhaps a storm will be Saturday and Sunday.
