Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller
Today a slow moving system combined with a moist easterly wind flow will bring periods of rain. There will be areas of drenching downpours or storms as well. Be alert for travel issues since any persistent rain bands that form could lead to sudden localized flooding or ponding in poor drainage areas. Temperatures will warm into the low 60s, but not until late in the day. Tonight, rain will taper off and there could be some patches of fog late. Lows will be in the low to mid 50s. Tomorrow clouds will break at times for some sun in the afternoon. There could still be a couple of showers or storm pop-up in areas across the region. Highs will be back in the mid 60s. Friday will feature a mix of clouds and sun with a spotty shower or storm. We'll have a mix of clouds and sun through the weekend, but hit or miss showers or storms could pop-up each day.
