Updated Wednesday Midday, May 7th
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

This afternoon clouds will break at times for some sun with still a chance for a shower or storm to pop-up.  Temperatures bounce back up into the low to mid 60s.  A warm front very slowly lifts northeastward.  Some showers and storms may occur in parts of the region tonight as well.  Tomorrow, warm air will start to surge in behind the front.  South & western parts of PA could see highs making it into the upper 70s to near 80.  However, the front may stall along the ridges, and if that occurs, temperatures in northeastern parts of our region may be stuck in the 60s.  A lot depends on how far the front advances.  There will still be some showers and storms around tomorrow with intervals of clouds and sun.  By Friday warm air will invade regionwide with highs around 80 for many locations. A slow moving front will bring clouds and numerous showers and thunderstorms on Saturday. This front may still be close enough to still allow for a shower or storm around on Sunday with highs in the low 70s for the weekend.
