I-99, I-80 and Routes 22 and 219 have a speed limit of 45 mph until the restriction is lifted. The reduced speed matches the speed at which PennDOT operates their plow trucks.
At the height of this latest storm snow, sleet and freezing rain was falling across the region. The main priority of crews was to keep roads passable. With the system moving out Wednesday afternoon, crews will be able to clear many roads by the end of the day.
